CORPORATE COMMUNICATION CONTENT SPECIALIST
A mid-tier mining group based in Sandton is looking to recruit a creative and dynamic Corporate Communications Content Specialist to join the team. The position is ideal for an individual with mid-senior level experience with a knack for research and producing professional copy.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social media management
Typing, compiling and preparing reports, publications and correspondence
Taking photographs and gathering information at corporate events
Participating in team meetings and providing detailed feedback on tasks
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma or Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in one of these fields: Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism.
At least 3-5 years working with content in the mining sector.
Knowledge of the media landscape
Computer literate, familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite, and open to learning to work with new software and applications.
Good writing and verbal comminutions skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Multimedia skills would be an added advantage.
Must be willing to travel and have valid driver’s licence.
Proactive.
Confident.
